With restrictions easing and events beginning to return to normal, SWELL Sculpture festival promises to bring locals back to trade and art back to our beach front. Connecting people, art and place, SWELL Sculpture Festival celebrates 17 years of showcasing contemporary large scale sculptures in the outdoors, in public spaces. SWELL has a history of ‘wowing‘ visitors and leaving locals with their own ‘SWELL Moment’, you can hear first hand some of these special moment.

Whale Watching

While whale watching season on the North Coast of NSW, runs from May to November every year, the best time to catch the migration is between June and October. Between May and July you’ll find the whales making their way north to breed, and from August onward you’ll see them heading back south with their young.
